The blockbuster London show Les Miserables has already made a grand entry into its 31st year. Cameron Mackintosh has made announcement related to cast change from 13th June 2016. From Monday 13th June 2016, the role of Thenardier will be portrayed by David Langham and Enjolras will be played by Chris Cowley. Other cast members include Peter Lockyer as ‘Jean Valjean’, Jeremy Secomb as ‘Javert’; Craig Mather as ‘Marius’; Rachelle Ann Go as ‘Fantine’, Eva Noblezada as ‘Eponine’; Katy Secombe as ‘Madame Thenardier’ and Zoë Doano as ‘Cosette’.
The complete company from 13th June onwards will comprise of Thomas Aldridge; Adam Bayjou; Oliver Brenin; Lucyelle Cliffe; Andy Conaghan; Chris Cowley; Vinny Coyle; Zoë Doano; Tamsin Dowsett; Aimée Fisher; Rachelle Ann Go; Antony Hansen; Steffan Harri; Will Jennings; Josie Kemp; Charlotte Kennedy; David Langham; Peter Lockyer; Joanna Loxton; Simon Lynch; Craig Mather; Kayleigh McKnight; Felix Mosse; Eva Noblezada; Hollie O’Donoghue; Adam Pearce; Jonny Purchase; Sophie Reeves; Jeremy Secomb; Katy Secombe; Samantha Thomas; Lee Van Geleen and Danny Whitehead.
David Langham is a renowned and hugely loved name in theatre world as some of this notable works include “Wendy & Peter Pan” for the Royal Shakespeare Company, “The Light Princess” at the National Theatre along with UK tours of “Oliver!” and “Spamalot.” “Doctor Who” and “The Phantom of the Opera” are some of his movie and television works.
Chris Cowley has also worked in some popular works such as “The Last Five Years” at the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, “Wicked” at the Apollo Victoria Theatre and “Saturday Night Fever” at the English Theatre Frankfurt.
